The Season of Blessings
“The Season of Blessings”
As the days grow shorter and the air turns crisp, I find myself drawn inward—toward reflection, warmth, and gratitude. November always invites me to pause and take stock of the blessings that fill my life, both seen and unseen. I’ve made it a yearly ritual to write them down, not because everything is perfect, but because this practice reminds me that joy and grace are woven into even the simplest moments.
Even though I did not win the lottery this year, get a Maserati sports car as a birthday present, or travel to exotic places... I am blessed.
To the Spirit that moves through all things, I offer my gratitude for these blessings:
🍂 Quiet moments before dawn when the world feels still and sacred.
🍂 My students who roll out their mats each week and share their energy and hearts.
🍂 The smell of chai tea and the ritual of that first warm sip.
🍂 Sounds of laughter that fill my home when friends and family gather.
🍂 Seasons that change, reminding me that everything has its rhythm and reason.
🍂 The healing power of deep breath and gentle movement.
🍂 The kindness of strangers and the unexpected smiles that brighten ordinary days.
🍂 The steady love of those who walk beside me, no matter the terrain.
🍂 The lessons that came wrapped in challenge but delivered wisdom.
🍂 The soft glow of candlelight during meditation and reflection.
🍂 Teaching, learning, and evolving alongside others on the path - joys in my life.
🍂 Nature's beauty - the trees, the moon, the wind, the stillness.
🍂 Music that stirs my soul.
🍂 The ability to rest, reset, and begin again whenever I need to.
🍂 The freedom to follow my calling and create spaces of peace and connection.
🍂 Cozy warm blankets, good books, and early nights.
🍂 The resilience of the human spirit and its endless capacity for love.
🍂 Meals made with care and shared with gratitude.
🍂 The magic that happens when we gather together and share our stories.
🍂 Awareness that, in this moment, I have everything I truly need.
As November unfolds, may we each pause long enough to notice the simple blessings that fill our days—the warmth of connection, the beauty of breath, the grace of being alive. Gratitude doesn’t need grand gestures; it lives quietly in the ordinary moments that make up an extraordinary life. What are you grateful for today?
One Last Thing Before I Go…
Gratitude is a returning. A remembering. A coming home.
May you find yourself home in your own heart this season.
